How were the pyramids in Egypt built?

So you can’t imagine it thus it can’t be real. Since it can’t be real I’m not even wrong.

Makes perfect sense to me now but ten years ago I’d have been scratching my head.

Where’s the connection between Osiris and CO2?

It is mostly yours, as the articles in wikipedia and others show, the issue is that several think that they are not true geysers as many cold ones do not produce steam and are not coming from geothermal activity. It is kinda like if you talk to a biologist and he tells you that there is no such thing as a fish, well we do now that even if that is the case there are still plenty of swimming critters in the sea anyhow) but that there are fountains that are not coming from volcanic activity but from CO2 related reactions is undeniable. And it could happen that some geologists are not aware of them, but there is plenty of published science and reports from locations that demonstrate that they do exist.

Obligatory XKCD cartoon

Yeah, but “not even wrong” is not a thing to be proud either.

1291a. To say: Thy water belongs to thee, thine abundance belongs to thee, thine efflux comes out of Osiris to thee.

788a. To make a libation. To say: Thy water belongs to thee; thine abundance belongs to thee;
788b. the efflux goes forth from the god, the secretion which comes out of Osiris,
22a. This is thy cool water, Osiris; this is thy cool water, O N., which went forth from thy son, which went forth from Horus.
22b. I have come; I have brought to thee the eye of Horus, that thy heart may be refreshed by it. I have brought it to thee. It is under thy soles.
23a. Take to thyself the efflux (sweat), which goes forth from thee; thy heart shall not be weary thereby.

2007a. To say: Thy water belongs to thee, thine abundance belongs to thee, thine efflux belongs to thee,
2007b. which issues from Osiris.

This next one’s a little more complex as it involves the degassification at the upper eye;

1800c. that I may fill thee with the ointment that came forth from the eye of Horus.
1801a. Fill thyself with it.
1801b. It will assemble thy bones; it will unite thy limbs;
1801c. it will collect thy flesh; it will let thy evil sweat flow to the ground.

Words in the ancient language had a single meaning but everything had three words that applied to it; a scientific term, a colloquial term, and a vulgar term. “I3.t-wt.t” was the scientific term for CO2, “efflux” was the colloquial, and “sweat” was the vulgar. It was the choice of terminology that defined the meaning.

Geologists who were aware of their existence answered almost every single question I put to them wrong.

I’ve simply gave up and did most of the research on my own. This is across the board. I have dropped the ball on a couple leads perhaps but no answers can be preferable to incorrect ones.

Since the context usually refers to natron pellets used for embalming, how big are those pellets again?

It is clear that that amount will be grossly insufficient to counteract all the acid coming up.

Oh yeah. cladking has shown he’s impervious to evidence or reason. Mockery is all that’s left. I’m waffling on whether it’s worthwhile to open a Pit thread on the King.

That is nice, I concentrate on published science so I think what you are reporting here is irrelevant.

Well, there you go, it is not my problem that you also missed google scholar and other sources of published science to get more accurate information.

Dude, I’d say you just jumped the shark but you’d need a ramp for that.

yeah - dude - its ‘them’ - they get it wrong…

do you have a background in geology or is this just more of your “thunderstruck” viceral metaphysical knowledge you be spewin?

couldn’t he use a funicular instead?

or maybe he was elevated by osiris ?

Very interesting link. Thanks.

Everything you need to know about the care and feeding of geysers appears in the PT.

Including the quantity of pellets used per load, a totally inadequate amount as an anti acid for a huge stream of water, but good enough for embalming a person.

Remember, you are not even wrong.

Neither.

I found the answers later from other sources. One geologist told me there was no hydrogen sulfide or sulfur dioxide smell at Crystal Geyser for instance.

Everything was just wrong and this is normal.

This also tell us that it is not really good to expect a big show every time, If you are still missing it, the way I’m approaching this idea recently is to assume that the whole thing works as your theory goes, and point at the flaws regarding the amount of water coming up and the amount of natron needed.

I have not left the hypothetical yet, and yet one can find many other problems with this idea of using cold geysers, but I did it before and it can come up again, as in: In real life those things are not constant or able to sent water up high all the time. Old Faithful they are not.

Either Wingardium Leviosa or Explosive Runes.

Yup. On Bow-shaped snowboards.

No! Don’t let them close it!

They should reopen the Barn House forum and make this the only thread in it.

Yeah, this thread is one for the ages. I’m bookmarking it now for the inevitable “Remember that guy?” thread five years in the future.
