My wife purchased an HP laptop about 5 months ago. The computer has been great, but lately she has noticed an issue with the screen. Every now and then we can see a line about a 1/4 way down from the top of the screen. This line seems to slightly flicker and goes all the way across the screen. It isn’t always there, but certainly annoying when it is visible. Any idea what would cause this?
does it go away if you pivot the screen? If so bad video cable, contact HP about Warranty.
does to come at go regardless of positioning or movement of screen, problem with the LCD itself. Talk to HP about warranty on the screen.
