I was just curious if any of my fellow Dopers play HSX?
If so, do they post on TT, and what handle do they use?
I play HSX, but what do you mean by TT? To me that means Salon’s Table Talk.
HSX has a message board, a really old annoying one that has a ton and a half of tips… really a good source of info.
Sadly, it seems to be a little cliquish, but it’s got several folks that post industry news quite often.
What’s your port at, if I may ask?
When I signed up with HSX a couple years ago, the message boards consisted of “fuck you!” “no, fuck YOU!” so I didn’t wander over there again.
Anyway, my portfolio is at $9.3 million.
There’s gotta be someone here who plays HSX besides the two of us!

You should try the TT area again… there’s a lot of trolling, but there are a lot of golden nuggets in there…

Haven’t been sighted on TT in awhile. When I was, handle was Dante.
My port has been hovering @10.5 mil for half a year, mostly due to inactivity, and Big Momma’s House, which I was waaayy too positive was gonna bomb.
One of these days I’ll get back into it, until then, 6% will do just fine.
Oh, and I’m holding Matrix 2; Monsters, Inc.; and some Drew Barrymore flick ATM.

Tristan, I’d be interested in joining an HSX league if you started it. I don’t play competitively now but I think it would be fun to see what other SDMB folks are buying.

Actually, leaguing in HSX is just putting a lists together of folks that you keep track of… sort of a way to monitor your own progress…
Other than that, it can be used for cheating…“Hey, let’s all buy this stock and drive the price up…” but they monitor for that and will ban folks that do it.
