Unclviny

I’m suspicious of that ad. There is no detailed description, and it he’s “good”, why so cheap?

He looks like Jamie Farr.

Is it legal?

If he’s selling himself (as property), then he violates the prohibition against slavery.

If he’s hiring himself out, and if part of ‘being a husband’ is an implied contract to have sex, then he violates laws against prostitution.

If he’s hiring himself out as a ‘husband’ in a non-sexual relationship, then I guess he’s contract labour, and I can’t think of any laws that would be violated.

He claims he is shipping himself by UPS. He must be150 lbs. or less.

Never mind. I just noticed this:

I’m pretty sure that UPS will charge more for than the $25 he listed for shipping though. If not, I know I’m planning my next trip to Vegas without plane tickets (as long as air holes are provided).

Check out the other things he’s got for sale. Maybe his spouse is a little tired of running a motorcycle parts business out of their living room?

Let’s say he’s doing this as a joke- if someone actually purchases him, is he legally obligated to go?

Starting Bid; $0.99 :stuck_out_tongue:

and no one’s bid yet!

And I thought the thread said, “Hobby shopping”…

Maybe he’ll show up on the winning bidder’s doorstep wearing a dress!

So he’s either an amphibian, crustacean, fish, insect, mullosc, reptile or worm.

I’m almost tempted to bid on this, just to see what happens. But if I had the high bid, would I get stuck with a husband that I don’t need? It was hard enough getting rid of the first one–don’t want to go through that again!

It’s hard to believe no one has bid on this yet. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m going to go with fish. He looks a little fishy. Doesn’t ebay have rules about not selling people? You’re not allowed to sell body parts, right?
