Netflix and YouTube are pre-installed on Apple TV. But since it’s hooked up to the internet, is there any way I can get Hulu or Funny or Die or other video services through Apple TV?

Okay, so the answer I’m looking for is “no.” Unless this is common practice, I’m not going to be jailbreaking anything.

Depends on what you mean by “common practice”. Jailbreaking doesn’t put your Apple TV at any particular risk of being damaged.
