So Hulu Plus is offering a “no commercials” tier for an extra few bucks a month. Hulu’s commercials have been increasing in frequency and number in the last few years and I suspect that we’ll see another bump soon to gently encourage existing users to make the jump.
Is anybody thinking of upgrading?
I did it. Cable shows don’t seem to have many commercials but major network prime time will have several breaks with 4 ads each. Inevitably the longer breaks lead to getting up to get a drink or something and getting distracted and it takes well over an hour to watch the 22 minutes of content in a 30 minute show. For an extra $4/month it seems like a no brainer.
