Do any of you watch the Hulu series “Casual”?
Every time I see a promo for it I think to myself I should check it out sometime. I’ve always liked Michaela Watkins in a “she’s always great, someone needs to give her a lead role in something” kind of a way. Well, I got my wish so I figure I should follow up on it. I also really liked Tara Lynne Barr from the movie God Bless America. So, there’s two reasons, at least, to check it out.

With or without any SDMB recommendations I’ll eventually get around to watching it but I thought I’d put out the call anyway.

I watch it. It’s a pretty good show too. A little dark at times, but on the whole it does an interesting job of dealing with family issues and divorce and what it’s like to start dating and making new friends for the first time in your 40s. It funny more than anything in a dry somewhat sardonic sort of way, and is one of the few shows I look forward to watching every week. I would recommend it without reservation.
