Yep. I don’t think I said different - in fact I said cats can act up when stressed. It may well have been a “contemptuous” gesture ( to graft a human emotion on to it ) by the cat. However if you had read a little more closely and clicked the link:

I’m not saying your cat DID have a medical problem. I’m saying it MIGHT have had a medical problem and it would have behooved you to check this out before leaping to conclusions. Your sin IMHO was one of assumption and we all know what happens when you ass-u-me.

I also would have at least made an attempt to try work through any behavioral issue for the sake of your other family members, but that’s just me.
