first off, can humans and chimpazees procreate? second, assuming one did, and that humanzee had a child with a human, and that child had a child with a human, and so on, how many generations would it take for the child to:

1 look somewhat human

2 have relatively the same mental and learning capabilites as human

3 be able to learn and speak english
started thinking about this after someone posted a thread about being the last human on earth, and it got me to thinking about other ways to preserve the human race.
