Producers who put shows like that together are like parents who give their kids names that leave them with monograms like ASS or DIK. Just bad planning, that’s all.
Got your back, Shirley. Simon and Simon was the best of the bunch, if only because it didn’t actively attempt to destroy its own credibility (no Ferraris lent by a mysterious and unseen friend, no police officers blasting people away willy nilly with no repercussions, no high-tech talking helicopters, etc.)
It wasn’t the most believable show ever, but it wasn’t stupid. And the actors who played Rick and A.J. actually seemed like bickering brothers.
