I have a husky and border collie mix he is the best dog. Very loving and energetic. Now that hes three he was calmed down a bit and is more relax and go with the flow. Although he was socialized alot as a puppy he was around many different people all the time he did become aggressive as he hit one year old. Our vet had told us it is a normal thing that male dogs do. Their testoserone starts to flow and the aggression does come into play. He also has four other dogs in teh house and he has no problems with them. There are two shiz zus and two pit bulls and he loves them they all sleep together. He is more protective over me than my boyfriend who has been there from the beging. He does warm up to people but it takes him a few hours and than has no problem with them after that. So for a female to have a male husky border collie mix. do beware that he may become more protective over you when new people are around.
