Hypothetical for parents of teens and Pre-teens

If you had the ability to turn yourself into a teen and transform back at any time you wanted, would you try to infiltrate your son or daughters set of acquaintances to see what they were doing when you weren’t around?

Do you think that it would be easy or hard to fit in with your kids friends if given a young face and body?

I’m almost positive I’d fit in with my daughter’s friends (considering they already adore me with this old body!), but I wouldn’t violate her privacy.

Maybe that’s why they adore me.

If I had the ability to turn myself into a teen, I’d decline. And if I was forced to do it, I’d be too preoccupied with my deep depression to give much thought to infiltrating any group. Although, come to think of it, much of my teenaged depression was over my inability to infiltrate certain groups of teens.

I believe I’d be able to fit in with a group of teenagers nowadays, given the appearance of youth. I’d probably even be considered cool, since I really wouldn’t give a damn what they thought of me. I just wouldn’t care to try it, especially not to spy on my own child.

Pffft!!

START, I already KNOW what my kids are up to. Everything they’ve done; everything they’re thinking about doing; I’ve done at least twice myself already!

It’s pretty hard to pull the wool over the old man’s eyes when he’s got an butt-loads of steet savy.

IMHO, A good rule of thumb to live by when it comes to teenagers is: They’re all punks and shall be treated as such. Now, sure, this mentality fucks it up for the (few) one’s who are actually good, but hey, at least ya’ don’t get burned. :stuck_out_tongue:
