breaths in the deep heady morning air of all glorious creation
Ahhh! Good morning to you all!
I feel surprisingly fine and dandy. I woke up promptly at 8:00, had me some Carnation Instant Breakfast© then I went and jogged my usual mile on the treadmill. I feel super. I did not feel so super when a certain someone, who fully intending on making me sick no matter what, prepared a breakfast of (I kid you not) eggs, onions, peanut butter, and a few cups of oil all fried together in one horrific mass. I did feel a bit sick then, but I would not blame it on the alcohol.
I was told that this is due to the fact that although I drank about 12-16 ounces of liqueur over all, I stopped several hours before I went to bed. I also think that downing the liter of Gatorade and a small handful of Aspirin before I went to bed helped as well (pre-emptive strike baby!)
I did learn a few things.
- I curse a lot when drunk. Jeepers! That was the most embarrassing thing about these posts. I am dreadfully sorry for my language.
- When bartenders find out it is your 21’st birthday and that you are drinking for the first time, they tend to be very nice and give you all of the drinks you want for free. So long as you let them choose. And not question as to what is in them (Scooby Snack? Three wise men?). And drink it down quickly as they watch and giggle.
- I am incredibly witty and urbane with a few drinks in me (attractive too).
It is odd. I still insist that mentally I was almost completely unaffected. I remember everything that happened clearly and could have even came home and did calculus homework. I did not suddenly find myself wanting to call old girlfriends, jump on anything feminine, start a fight with the first person who looked at me funny, or any other cliched drunken behavior. I honestly felt just as clearheaded as I do now. Even though I could barely walk my mind was on the straight and narrow, as I am sure the previous posts show.
