Well here I am a brand spanking new band/general music teacher. I’m enjoying it quite a bit though It is EXTREMELY busy. I work at four schools, which is crazy enough, but I also have 150 students. Somehow I’m going to have to administrate instruments to them all which is scaring me a bit. Our first teaching day was on Wednesday but I’ve been working 12 hour days since monday…I’m feeling a little burn’t out right now…
But I love it and am glad to be here!

Yay, congrats ** Quasimodal**! As a hopeless band geek, I thank you for teaching future generations of my own kind. The only teacher I even remember from middle school was my band teacher. What grade levels are you going to be teaching?

That’s awesome. You got 'em young when they’re (mostly) still sweet. Those sixth graders are going to start getting a little big for their britches, but you’ll love 'em anyway.
