There’s been very few cases where I was actually worried something happened, health wise (like the stroke mentioned upthread), and the chances of it happening mid-post doesn’t seem likely. But it did cross my mind because it was so oddly jarring.
I mean, the content of her posts before we’re mostly rambling, self-contradicting statements of witnessing/I just want to have an intellectual discussion. But at least her posts were understandable as far as grammar goes.
The possibility of trolling is there too, but didn’t have all the usual earmarks.
That’s my conclusion. Ambien or shrooms, who knows. Welp, hope she’s okay, FWIW.
The framing of two OMGs between two backslashes seems a bit too regular for someone in distress. Also going through the cycle of editing the post. Probably just booze.
My guess is that the kid in the Jedi Knight robe became so restless around Lesson 3 (you can see he’s already having trouble holding still) that he grabbed the stone linggam and bashed her over the head with it.
(On a more serious note, I do hope Granny Rainbow is okay and I am a little worried about whether she had a stroke or something while at the keyboard. The fact she’s signed in later isn’t conclusive, it could have been someone else with access to the computer. I wish her well, physically and mentally.)
I shouldn’t have read that thread at 3 a.m. I’m afraid I may have woke the neighbors, I was laughing so loud when Granny Rainbow started speaking in tongues.
I sent her a PM asking if she was all right, and at 3.22 pm the next day, she logged on and responded that yes she was, it was a medication reaction and she plans to lay low for a while.
So, there you go, FWIW. I sort of like the performance theory better, though.
Well, that’s good to know. She’s more than welcome to come back here if she wants to - she wasn’t the first, and I’m sure she won’t be the last poster who gets a little weird here.
