I’m terribly sorry to hear it. We lost our girl a year ago…a house without a dog? A friend posted on my FB “That’s like a garden without flowers.” It was too quiet. We trusted that if/when the time was right, we’d find another dog and we did. Two brothers, in fact.
It’s sad that we won’t have them forever. As Mrs. L says, they’re about the closest thing to unconditional love that we’re going to find.
