I am going to try Invisalign braces.

If you have seen the commercials you already know what they are. They are clear, removable, tooth trays that move your teeth just like braces. You replace them every 3 weeks or so I guess.

I am 26 years old, had braces once and lost my retainer in Korea so my teeth are crooked now. So I went to the ortho to check out this technology. Basically it is going to cost me $2500 for a top arch fix that will take 6-12 months. My teeth aren’t really all that crooked so it shouldn’t take too long.

Anyone had these things yet? Anyone hear anything about them? Good or bad?

Either way I am sure some of you are thinking about doing this to so I will update on how it works and how it goes for those thinking about it.

Yea I had them for about 8 months, on my upper and lower teeth. I too had conventional braces as a child, which became crooked due to lack of retainer use.

It cost me 4500 dollars, an extravagant fee which I now feel was far too much for the results. My teeth are better now, but not as much as I had hoped.

It is a hell of a lot more comfortable than the misery of metal braces though.
