So after several thousand dollars of tests, I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and am now the proud possessor of a CPAP machine.
Damn thing really works. Last night was my second night on it and I’m feeling the difference already.
Amazing what a little sleep can do, innit?

I wish it worked for me. I tried it and it took several hours to get to sleep because I usually sleep on my stomach. Then I wake up in the middle of the night with the mask on the side of my jaw. Then I gave up…
Yeah, I used to sleep on my stomach, too. But I had to retrain myself otherwise. There are several different kinds of masks, though, maybe a different apparatus would work better for you?
No, but I’d like to get a prop maker to make me an alien facehugger to cover the mask with. It’s even got a tail already!
Actually I just got a septoplasty last month and can breathe through my nose for the first time in thirty years, so now I don’t need the full face mask any more.
