I’m on the SDMB, the most pedantic place on the internet.
You’ve never been on reddit, have you?
I have, but perhaps I’ve been missing /r/pedantry or something like that?

Odd how often that happens. See also: “What difference does it make?” and “You didn’t build that.” It’s almost as if keeping the remarks in context makes it more difficult to append an entirely new narrative to the quote.
Has AOC said “Okay, this was clumsy” about her idea of $21T taken from the Pentagon to spend on M4A, or her notion that the US did not start as a capitalist country, or that unemployment was low because everyone was working two jobs, or that the US increased the defense budget by $700 billion in 2017, or that Karen Handel outspent Lucy McBath 5-1? I don’t recall her having done so, although I could certainly be wrong.

From where I sit it’s incredibly easy to avoid running into pedantry over there if you don’t upset the apple cart and don’t enter disagreements.
I’d also submit it isn’t a pedantic environment because not that many stay mindful of at least one of the core rules for submissions there, which is they can’t be older than month. Here’s a 2 year old story that was honored to the tune of 900 upvotes.
