I am so addicted

…to this site.

The guy to whom the site belongs breaks in to abandoned prisons, TB wards and mental hospitals and takes some great pictures. He doesn’t vandalize; he just observes. Background info is given for each location and a small description for most photos is provided.

Be forewarned…this site is addictive.

The link doesn’t work for me but I think I know what site it is.

My friends and I have been known to do some urban exploring. It’s a trip, a rush, sometimes creepy and dangerous. Both legally and possibily physically.

Breaking into an empty prision heh heh heh.

Wow, those are some beautiful pictures.

Mr. Goob, try www dot opacity dot us

Good link, ta. If you like that one, you’ll like this old “weird earl”: Abandoned Places. Same sort of stuff, superb photos.

Is Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Ky., on that site? If not, Google it. According to Wikipedia, “it is now considered as one of the most haunted buildings in the Eastern United States.”

That settles it…I am never getting anything done ever again. These sites are just too interesting.

Yeah, just what I need, another site to get addicted to!
Heh, the Google Ad-Bot needs reprogramming. Not going to sell many mental health treatments to folks who’ve visited the linked site!

I have some old shots of abandoned Bldg 25 at Creedmoor in Queens, wonder if that guy would be interested in seeing them?

Superfly.

I grew up in Danvers, MA - and was always fascinated by the State Hospital. I’ve driven by it a hundred times, delivered pizza there when in college etc. Great pictures. Cool site. Thanks.

Action Squad In Minneapolis has nothing on Opacity for pictures, but the stories are great.

Wow. Fantastic site for reference photos. And pretty, too.

Oh my god. Such bereft beauty. Dude is obviously an incredible artist… thanks for the link!!!

Thanks for the links. Sites like these fascinate me for some reason.

Y’all might like this one, too.

Thanks for the pointer! I’ve been spending way too much time today exploring this site. The pictures are beautiful! I’ve always liked this sort of thing.

Thanks for the interesting links, folks - keep 'em coming!

Did anyone Google Waverly Hills Sanatorium? Here’s a good site–especially if you like the ghostly aspects to these abandoned places. Be sure and look for info on the Body Tunnel.
