It that machine is out of date, then so is every ATM I’ve ever seen in the U.S. (except the abforementioned “swipe” machines, but they never have these at banks, only supermarkets, gas stations, Wal-Mart, etc.) , including a few that were built around town over the past month or two by one of the biggest banks in the country. They have cool color screens and laser-printed receipts, but they still give you your money before you get your card.
Thanks for the concern, y’all. I talked to the bank this morning and they’re going to refund my money. Thank you, Bank of America!In addition, I called the cops yesterday, as well, and there’s a good chance they’ll catch the mother-felchers who did this because they’re bound to be on the security camera tape.
I learned my lesson: never let my guard down at an ATM.
