So, my dad heads our family firm, a manufacturing company which makes ventilators (the kind in tunnels, ships etc…). Today he went to talk to the heads of Maersk.
For those who don’t know, Maersk is a the world’s largest shipping company (their logo is a white star on a blue background) which is responsible for around 1% of the world’s total C02-emissions.
He met with them to try to convince them to use our fans in their ships, which, though more expensive than our competitors, are higher-quality and thus much more energy-efficient, and would save them a good percentage of their total emissions.
This means that if they go for it, my father’s and uncle’s (he heads our R&D department) efforts might actually have a real impact on the world’s C02 emissions!
I am so proud of them, and just felt the need to share.
