Heh, I’m supposedly going to pass at the age of 74. That’s smack right into the average of everyone who’s passed in my family (my mother passed at 84 – she’d been my oldest living relative until then).
Well, I WAS often tempted to say the OP’s posts of the last few years stank like that of a rotting corpse over the last few years and it was getting worse.
But I thought it might be impolite to say so.
At least I now know it wasn’t just my imagination.
PS. That makes me suspect I might have been dead before I even started posting here.
I’m dead alright. I just rechecked it and got the same answer.
All of us dead people should get together; I’ve got a great idea for a TV series.
Reported for socking.
Or I guess sheeting, seeing as you’re a ghost and all.
So, basically, you are threadsheeting.
That would be a neat trick.
2045! I have 30 more years ago, which makes me 80 – about the time I’ve always planned on departing this mortal coil.
I did get the “you’re fat and fatness will kill you” message at the site; apparently, it won’t be killing me anytime soon.
I experimented with changing my mode to “Optimistic”; this added 22 more years, putting my death date in 2067 . . . WTF? I don’t want to live to be a 102! The hell with being optimistic.
When it calculated my BMI, it says “Your Category is: Desirable”. Below that is “Underweight” and above that is “Prone to health risks”.
… Um. Maybe their phrasing here isn’t too desirable.
March 23rd 2056. Aged almost 94. Probably as a result of a jet pack accident on the way home from the pub…
Dad died at 90, Mom at 82, Mom’s grandfather at 100. I should have another 30 - 40 years.
Darn it, I was going to say that.
Monday, November 25, 2030 so I’ll be 72. Could be a lot worse.
Phooey; I died ten years ago. Oh, well, I’m having a pretty good zombie/vampire existence.
Seriously, one of the important things that test has no way to assess is muscle tone. I’m pessimistic and obese…but I exercise regularly, and have a fairly decent diet. Yes, my life-style (especially obesity) is shortening my life-span, but other aspects of my existence are lengthening it to compensate.
It’s a cute little app, but, obviously, far too simplistic.
Apparently I have 5 years left. It’s because I’m fat, but I am also active and otherwise healthy, so I’m sticking with my personal estimate of 23 years to go (age 90).
It tells me I’ve got until 2021. If stop smoking I apparently get another 4 years. But even if I lose 20 pounds, it won’t make any difference.
I once saw another calculator that added in family information. I think I’m pretty good there, since all my grandparents and my father lived into their 90s. My mom died at the age of 70, but this was related to a congenital heart defect that I fortunately don’t share.

Just shy of 50! Woo hoo!
It says I have 21 years left.
I will dance on their graves, I tells ya!!!
1.1 Gs … 30-something years … maybe I’ll get my hover car by then.
Mine is 2078 and I am 69 yo ! :smack: This is bad news for me !
Deathclock says I have to live 30 more years. And without any new Dethklok!?
