As someone whose parents live in Monterey (PG actually), it just stinks to head over to Carmel and walk the main drag with all of those cheesoid galleries - there’s a Kinkade, some retarded mouse-themed place, some place that sells high-end Leroy Nieman-type splash paintings and bronzes of “hot babes” that look great with black and chrome for your man-pad :rolleyes: - replete with other bronzes of cool jazz players and such…argh.
I appreciate the fact that Kinkade found a way to make a living, but don’t think of what he does as “art” - more like “interior design”…
