I kept hearing this odd noise, barely under the TV sounds. I muted the television and realized that it’s my neighbor singing opera-style. It’s just slightly off-key, and not really annoying, but fairly amusing.
I actually had a pretty good laugh about it. I don’t hear much from the apartments surrounding me in this building, so when I do, I know it has to be fairly something fairly loud. snicker
My teenage neighbor often likes to sing at the top of her lungs. At times I am really tempted to shout out requests. If I know the song, sometimes I will join in with her!
I can only imagine what my neighbors think of me sometimes! I do my vocal warm-ups every day and though I close all the windows and try to keep quiet I just know they can hear! I’ve never had any complaints or comments and I’m practicing my jazz and samba songs every day. Maybe I’ll invite them to our next gig and see if they come. Hmmm…then again maybe not. 
I do it too. But I like to maintain the myth that they can’t hear me.
