On July 24, I will be at the 2004 Microbrewers & Importers Expo! Four hours of unlimited beer from 50 microbreweries and importers.
I know I will be stopping by at the Abita and Hacker Pschorr tables to try beers that I have heard great things about but haven’t yet tried. Of course, they’ll need a crowbar to pry me from the Anchor table.
Anyone see any personal favorites that I should be sure not to miss (though I plan not to miss too many!)?
Of course, it might be more interesting with the links. :smack:

Have fun!

Aww…I spotted flyers for this at a local pub back in May, but I’m busy that week.
I don’t see anything on the list that I know enough about that makes it a ‘must-try’, except perhaps “Flying Dog Doggie Style Pale Ale” for the name alone.
Yes, that is the green-eyed monster you see.
The Michigan Brewing Company bought Pierre Celis’ Celis White recipe after he moved back to the old country. Find it and see if it’s as good as it was when he was making it in Austin.
Give the Bell’s Amber Ale a try. It’s always been one of my favorites. Also, I’m a big fan of the Redhook IPA and the Wild Goose IPA, if you like that heavily-hopped style. Have fun. Wish I could be there.
I’d make a beeline for the Ommegang booth first (and then after a suitable pause a somewhat less linear path to other promising spigots)
My, but I had forgotten what a dapper gent Michael Jackson is…
I’ve had the Barley Creek brews. They are very good. I’d suggest the Brown Antler Ale.
Too bad Rogue isn’t bringing their Dead Guy Ale. Fantastic brew!
