For the past couple days now, whenever I click on the MPSIMS link on the forum index, my computer pops up a little box asking me if I want to download mpsims.php from straightdope.com. No matter what I do, the actual forum itself won’t let me in. Oddly enough, I pulled a listing of the threads I’ve been posting in, and I can access a thread in MPSIMS, but not the forum itself.
Help?
There’s been some php strangeness going on that I think the tech guys are still sorting through.
Are you using one of the outside browsers, like Firefox? Some people are reporting troubles with alternate browsers.
Other people have had similar problems and purged their caches to find when they returned the problem was solved. That’s an easy solution, and I hope for you a quick fix.
