Far be it from me to bother you people with trivial problems. But upon perusing the Pope’s website, I just can’t seem to find his email address. There are a lot of Latin links. But no email address, I can seem to find. I want to ask him what his views are regarding laws that protect gays against discrimination in the work place.
I asked Pope Benedict the same question. But he never replied.
Please help me find his email address. I really want to ask him this question.
Don’t know the Pope’s position, but 20 years ago when the Saskatchewan government enacted that kind of legal protection, the Roman Catholic bishops supported it. They stated that one’s sexual orientation shouldn’t be a factor in employment and housing.
Given Pope Frank’s general style, I imagine he reads at least a few, though there simply aren’t hours enough in the day for him to read them ALL. I’d rate the chances of getting a personal reply from Francis as vastly higher than with the previous Pope, yet still vanishingly slim.
This reminds me–back when I was in NYC, I recall reading in an article that Bloomberg’s personal number was listed in the phone book, and calling it would, in fact, occasionally result in him picking up the phone. I’d like to get my hands on the Vatican City Yellow Pages and look for an entry under “Francis, P.”
FWIW, I just tried francis@vatican.va, and it was returned to me. So we know it’s not that. I wonder if it is francisi@vatican.va. In any event, I won’t try that one, for now at least.
