Well, not anymore. If I select an internet page to be my home page in IE, the next time I start up this page:
http://tooncomics.com/main/hp.php
is my home page again. Bastards. I ran Spybot and Ad Aware, but that didn’t help. So, any ideas how to get rid of this? I use Windows ME and IE 6.0
Did you try running the internet repair tool? (it’s in add/remove programs) in some cases that helps.

That didn’t help either. Any other ideas?
See instructions here . I Googled this link, but the suggestion to use CWShredder seems a good one, since the symptom you described is similar to the CoolWebSearch problem.
See als this link , with the same suggestion, and a link to CWShredder. It appears to have worked there.

Thanks very much, Tusculan, this did the trick. It even got rid of all the sites that were put in my history (while I never visited them). GREAT!
