rant aside, i just upload my pix to an on-line photo site. someone on another list i belong to recommended photobucket.com to me, and there reside most of my pics. that, and i also use yahoophotos.com.
to do the link thingy, i just open a second internet explorer window to my pic site then copy/paste the url to the dope message window.

there are fancier ways of doing it by going to the FAQ page (i think) to the section on vb code and then doing the open and close quote thingiewhatsits - but it’s all too much work.
