I don't believe I did this

I quoted the A-team at work. It just slipped out. And I haven’t watched it since it originally ran on television. Not even “I pity the fool”. But “I love it when a plan comes together”.

I’m apparently a true child of the 80s.

That’s not so bad. However, if you had said “talk to the hand” then I would have to start thinking less of you.

Is that a bad thing? I say that all the time.

We all do shameful things. I’m a living example.

That’s not so bad. I’m also an 80’s kid and the worst line I ever lifted was from Sonny on “Miami Vice.” A guy had pulled a lame prank on one of my friends, so I confronted him after school and told him what he did was (get this) — “Uncool, man…MAJOR UNCOOL!” I still cringe just thinking about it.

Yeah, but we’ve long since lost all respect for you ;).

Lsura – I’d much rather hear “I love it when a plan comes together” (which I must admit I’ve quoted as well), than to hear that inane, stupid, grating quote, “Simmah down now!” Ewwwww. That’s a really pathetic, unhumorous character on a really pitiable shell of a show.

I guess A-team affected a lot of us. I say that everytime a project at work ends sucessfully.

Thank you, it’s nice to know that I’m not the only old fogey here.

Don’t sweat it guy. It just means you’re almost as weird as me.

My chemistry teacher said that in lab class last week. I was the only one that knew where it came from.

Of course, I’ve also had conversations with teachers where we quoted entire scenes from Monty Python, and nobody else understood why we were laughing at each other.

I guess I’m just wise beyond my years (I’m 18, BTW)
