Huh… I was just re-reading my own response to your thread about tracking people’s Internet activity at work.
I wonder if it doesn’t have anything to do with your having an apostrophe in your user name. As an Oracle programmer, I can assure that weird characters like ampersands, commas, and apostrophes in fields that we don’t expect can play havoc with efforts to search on data.
Did it feel like your whole body just went plib?
