Your posts are DDs, you really don’t need to pad them.
Just because someone has a high count or average doesn’t mean they post just to inflate their numbers. I have a ~9 PPD average and just over 7,000 posts but I’m not particularly thrilled with that. Embarassed is the better word but I’ve been unemployed for 12 of the past 16 months so I have an explanation for my heavy posting.
None of which are in game threads or postcount parties either. I hate those threads and avoid them like the plague.
Or an explanation for the length of your unemployment?

Meh, I thought your post was funny. Based upon what Aesiron posted, I thought the same thing and if you hadn’t said it, I might have. He’s pissing on you because you made the logical and obvious correlation between the two facts he posted. He criticizes you for making assumptions based upon what others write, when that is the only thing that we can make an assumption on. What else would, or could there be? What is truly amazing is that he is making the same leap that you did! He sees your words and leaps in making the assumption that you were criticizing him for spending time posting versus job hunting as opposed to, say, just a friendly jab at a fellow poster.
Now if you truly wanted to be an asshole you could take his last post where he stated the actual reason he was unemployed. You could ask, “What? Thinking about your next post instead of watching where you’re going?” But, I at least, have no information to suspect he was posting regularly at that point, or that he wasn’t paying attention while walking down the road. I have only what he posted to base any reply upon. Those would be filtered by own life experience: Trucks are large, relatively easy to spot, tend to be slow moving (at least when I am behind them in my car), and noisy. The only way I could conceive to be hit by one while walking down the street is if it came up onto the sidewalk behind me and thus got lost in the general noise on the street, or if I was heavily preoccupied with something else and walked into its path, or I was blind. I assume blind because the other reasons don’t make much sense to me. I’ve never been that preoccupied and I’ve not heard of there being an issue with trucks driving down the sidewalk. Or, we could assume he was trying to commit suicide in which case I feel sorry for the poor guy driving the truck that hit him. See, the previous is pure assholery. What you did wasn’t. It was just them being touchy.
In any case, we can only base our replies upon what someone posts and, given that, they have little reason to complain on how you respond to them.
