The term BRICS was used to describe the loose economic block of countries that mostly had improving economies and sometimes some resentment of the West or North: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. It is said today others have been invited to join this club: Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E. They might need a new name, but it’s tougher to make a neat anagram. You are invited to try.
