I’ve changed my Doper name. You once knew and loved me (or not) as Seeker74. Now you can call me by one of my real nicknames.
Feel free to compose limericks or haikus in honor of this momentous (or not) occasion.
That is all.

Seeker74
is gone, but now she is back
Woo Hoo! Kitchen Wench
How’s that?
:dubious:
I feel like a new woman, too.
::picks up phone and calls Holly::
Damn! Beat me to it!
my tag line was gonna be… but where can I find one?
Now I know who keeps breathing heavily into the phone…
I feel like a slightly used woman. New ones take too long to break in.
I love that new woman smell.
The gnome zaps a hexagonal wand!
The elf warps a tetrahedral staff?
All bow before the lovely and talented Kitchen Wench! Now get in that kitchen, and bake me a pie!
Good enough !!
There once was a Doper named Wench
Whose cooking emitted a stench
She appealed to the Mods, for a fresh case of Cods
And now she’ll sit in slack-jawed shock to discover that
While I started this limerick like a champeen wordsmith
I truly could not come up with a line to complete the rhyme and rhythm
And for this I’m truly regretful so enjoy your new name anyway
And I personally prefer Pecan Pie if it’s all the same to you.
Cartooniverse
I am now giggling uncontrollably, Cartooniverse! Thanks!
::wields rolling pin::
Next time, be more specific when you demand something from the kitchen.
::curtsies and walks back to kitchen to make a perfect pecan pie::
Kitchen wench, eh?
Sounds much better than scullery maid, no?
(meant to be funny, not snarky)
Are we to know the reason for the change?
I didn’t particularly care for my birth year appearing in my name, and Seeker was already taken. I think Kitchen Wench has a better ring to it than my old name, too. What do you think?
C’mere sweetheart, sit on my lap, I’ll tell ya if you feel like a new woman or not…
What? All the good responses were taken.
::feels up Kitchen Wench a bit::
Why, so you do!
You gave the game away! I would never have guessed that 74 referred to your age in any way!
Seeker–like Quidditch or meaning of life seeking? Or hide and seeking, come to that?
I like kitchen wench. Are you one? Can you carry tankards on your forearms? Do you wear a bustier? (spelling?). I was once a cook on a pirate ship–we wenches must stick together!
Am I a wench? Well, I was a saucy sea wench some years ago for Halloween. Does that count? I am the kitchen wench in that I’m the overseer of all gally activity on this here ship & no one is to enter it while I’m working, lest I buckle some swashes on their ass. And of course I can carry multiple tankards. Don’t wear a bustier, but I own a custom corset.
Hunter, Bus Guy-- Uh, hi… AHEM… I mean, keep your hands to yourselves, ya mangey rats! I’ll cut your hands off with me trusty santoku knife!
