So after months of farting around and procrastinating, I finally got all my stuff together to apply for two teaching positions at a “local” community college. I dug out my transcripts. I dug out my old teaching evaluations. I got it all together and filled out and hand delivered both packets to the college’s HR dept. Through it all, it never occured to me that I might want to include a cover letter as is standard practice nowadays. Ugh!
