I already made rice–we have a very serious relationship with rice here, so this is quite a find–and I wonder if anyone has other recipes?

I think I have the same one! I have been cooking oat groats a lot recently. I just treat them like brown rice. And dress with salt, butter, brown sugar, and milk.

I have also tried cooking grits in it, and they came out with an interesting fluffy texture.
