Basically I made a technical error which could have cost the company dearly. Luckily it didn’t. But my boss is not the understanding type, and I recently got a raise, which doesn’t help the way I feel.

I once worked with an always-joking guy. One day, the boss told him if he fucked up one more time, he was fired. The next day, he came in and told the boss, “I told my wife she couldn’t be on top any more, 'cause you said I couldn’t fuck up again.”
I may be fucking up this very evening, (work wise)
I have to do things I haven’t done before, and according to an impossible time schedule. My supervisors are not the understanding type.
