I give up -- what happens when you get a group of Introverted Dogs together?

Some dogs just don’t care for each others’ company and prefer that of humans.

I always found it strange that when we had multiple dogs at one time, they associated with each other minimally. The dynamics mostly involved competing for our attention, and dominance behavior by one self-appointed leader toward the other canines.

It’s interesting how differently some dogs act as part of their pack versus solo.

My dogs accompany me to work. When all three are together, our new pup Simi is pretty assertive; barking at strangers, strutting around, etc. But I’ll occasionally bring Simi solo and he’s a totally different dog; quiet, unassuming, just a bit timid.

I’m not sure which Simi I prefer.

I read the thread title, and immediately thought “Norwegian (breed of choice)”.

Sweden, though, well, not too far off, was I?
