This past week at work, I was reviewing documentation for the software system that we’re developing.

The installation instructions for one module included this gem:

That’s it – only one item on the list.

I was SO tempted to force a second item onto the list, just so I could add “3. Hi Opal!” But I figured that the customer wouldn’t understand the joke, and such jokes are better shared among people who know them.

(BTW: Hi Opal!)

I saw a two item list on a conference room whiteboard. I was very tempted to add “Hi Opal”, too. If it’s still there on Monday I’m going to. :smiley:
