I went to dinner last friday night with a group of friends, a nice little greek place close to my house. (The Great Greek on Ventura Blvd) We were all settled in to eat Michael Chiklis and his family are seated next to us. I wasn’t sure at first if it was him, but it was! He’s a very cool guy in person, laid back jeans and tshirt type.
At first I was afraid that the whole ‘celebrity in the restaurant’ thing would start, but they acted and were treated like every other patron. So kudos to Mr Chiklis and to the restaurant for a great evening. (cute dancing waiters at that place if you’re into that)
Excellent to hear; he made that movie fun to watch, along with Chris Evans. When I read the title I assumed it was something about sushi and Carpenter’s movie.
When I read the title, I thought of the disembodied hand from The Addams Family.
Waiter: “And what will you have, sir?”
Thing (in sign language): “Some finger food, please.”
If I saw Michael Chiklis in a restaurant, I think my first thought would be “Hey, at least nobody will cause any trouble here. Not with Vic Mackey around.”
