but i do have some question.
1.prot said "planet k-pax had no family “what is it mean?
family is part of society ,is it not important?
2。THE Psychiatrist ask prot “WHAT IF SOMEONE DOING SOMETHING wrong,who punish him” ,what is prote’s answer?everyone punish himself?

In a nutshell K-PAX has no families because they are one giant society. No body knows who birthed whom because everyone raises everyone else in one big group. The village raises the children.
And yes if someone does something wrong the group will teach the person what they should do right. There isn’t much of a “punishment” because “every being knows right and wrong”
Been a while since I saw it, but I think you’re hit upon the issue with #1. K-Pax has no family on his planet, and this is in contrast to how things are on Earth. It shows how different he is.
Actually, the “alien’s” name is “Prot.” K-Pax is the name of his home planet.
