Sorry for such a short post, but I dont fully understand the ending… is it one of those endings where your supposed to figure it out on your own?

One of the people I went to the theatre with suggested that on the 5 year anniversary he just gave up because his whole family was slaughtered and felt no reason to live. Yet I think that he was using prot as a ‘shell’ if you will for his body on Earth… the movie suggests both are true yet doesnt really point to either one… i checked IMDb and didnt find any definite answers to this and was wondering if any of you have seen this and could give me an answer…

Though I would have to say it was a great movie and well worth the outrageous 7.50 a ticket. gasp
