and last night I was messing online till about midnight, when there was a “bump” at my bedroom window :eek: I tried to ignore it, but it “bumped” again. Then I heard the distinct sound of cat’s claws scraping the glass. T’was the little stray cat that I feed - but what she was doing at my window at midnight is anyone’s guess.
I went to bed, normally I start to think about something mundane and within 5 minutes I’m out for the count, but last night the mundane thought turned profound and around 3.30am I finally fell asleep.
5.10am [ish] I’m awoken by a “rrrrrrraaaaaaooooooowwwwwww” outside my window. it was answered by an equally angry “rrrrrrraaaaaaoooooowwwww”, two cats squaring up for a fight - so I got up to shush them, only there was no sign of them 
(I think they were in the hedge). The come-and-have-a-go-if-you-think-you’re-hard-enough challenge went on for a good 20 minutes.
I was just nodding off, when a lorry suddenly starts up and revvs it’s engine for a good 20 seconds, before driving away.
Just about to drop off again and several crows decided now might be a nice time to start shouting at each other - right outside my window :rolleyes:
Sometime after 6am I was asleep, when the bloody cats started at it again 
I did fall asleep - about 2 seconds before the alarm went off :smack:
