Heh. Take a look at Egypt, tards. See what all that unemployment caused?
One can hope it happens here in America.

Unemployment???
Seriously? The situation in Egypt is about unemployment and not, say, several decades of de facto dictatorship combined with an undercurrent of unrest driven by events in Tunisia, factors which are also fueling protests in Yemen? What a unique take on reality you have.
If he provided jobs the population would have been quelled. If the economy is doing well, the people are peaceful. If a leader takes all the wealth for him and his ruling group, you will get a growing mass of unhappy people.
It seems a dictator has a tough time ruling for the betterment of his people. It has been repeated over and over. The lesson is never learned.
Hell., our bankers and wealthy have not learned either. They think accumulating massive wealth in a down economy is a fine idea.
How much wealth have you chosen to give up because the economy was down?
Dude, you’re talking to a 2 year old. EVERYONE who is anyone knows this. You have to come as far out of reality-ville as the SDMB to find someone who does not know that mass unemployment is the spark that set off the Middle Eastern powder keg of the youth bulge.
Because a single person is totally the same thing as a company.
His point was clear as the nose on your face.
Further please cite how much bailout money gonzomax has received from the American tax payer vs, say, Bank of America.
This is really a dark thought, but it’s an honest reflection if corporate America wishes to take our money, or operate on our land, it better not beggar us, or the people managing it will pay, and pay dearly. Enough pent up frustration, and people cease to be lawful. I think that turn of events would cause a lot of suffering and hurt many innocent people in the process. I really hope it doesn’t come to that.
Because bankers and the weathy are totally the same as a company.:rolleyes:
Oh my god… first these guys don’t realize the enormous role that unemployment has had in the Egyptian rebellion and now kidchameleon is asking what wealth gonzomax has given away?
Does this guy not realize that some billionaires have in fact pledged to give away significant amounts of wealth in the wake of this crisis?
Police protection, access to public roads… how much ya wanna bet that counts as a bailout in KC’s logic?
It requires the Left to grow a pair. The Left ran and hid when the Tea Party rushed out to the defense of the rich.
So now liberals are considering “Second Amendment Remedies”?
Again with the balls. Oy vey.
Unemployment is the spark but it wasn’t the powder. We’ve got a whole thread somewhere about why America isn’t rioting.
You really are one retarded low-life piece of shit aren’t you troll. If it does happen in America I hope it happens in your neighborhood.
And seriously your obsession with testicles is disturbing. What did yours fall off because they decided they didn’t want to be related to such a piece of shit as you?
Thanks, I needed that; and couldn’t have said it better.
If you are also into anti-offshoring and anti-outsourcing (and you love tariffs) you should also check out his scintillating Offshoring call to action thread. You seem like a good candidate to join the small but growing group of Le Jac followers and I wouldn’t want you to miss the opportunity to chime in. If you like what you see, you could also do some searches on gonzomax, as he will also have some stuff you might want to check out and get involved in…your responses in the Why aren’t we Rioting in the US thread seem to indicate like-minded-ness on that score as well.
I hope you find your experience here on the 'dope to be a pleasurable and fulfilling one. Now, please adjust your seat backs and tray tables to the full upright positions, keep your arms and legs inside the car at all times, and sit back and enjoy the ride…

Strictly speaking, the unemployment is (part of) the powder keg, not the spark; it causes general dissatisfaction and anger, but you needed Tunisia to convince the masses to rise up. Also, there are more factors than just one; food prices matter, Egypt’s half-assed oppression matters, the composition of the military matters. It’s worth pointing out that unemployed youths are a problem all across the Middle East, but not all of the Middle East is in full disarray right now. Syria won’t have mass protests, because everyone remembers Hama; Jordan probably won’t see regime change, because Jordanians are scared of enfranchising the Palestinians and the royalty is smart; Algeria won’t see regime change, because everyone remembers the revolution; Morocco won’t have anything massive, because people trust the king when he tosses out Parliament; etc. Unemployment matters, but it’s not everything. Not even close.
Least interesting post #1000 ever.
