I hate the term "pizza guy"

Of course Pete’s a guy, have you ever seen a girl named Pete?

Yes, the preferred term for someone who brings you pizza is “cheese donkey.”

You would prefer Planar Consumables Delivery Agent?

Well, at least I thought it was funny.

Yup, I think we have a multiple whoosh situation on our hands!

Not to be confused with a “cheese mule.”

I prefer “Pie faerie.”

Wait, maybe I don’t.

Actually, when I was a kid, one of our neighbors was called “Miss Petey” although it might have been her last name…

Moving from IMHO to MPSIMS.

Should we explain the joke?

What about Sister Pete in “OZ,” huh?

How about a boy named Sue?

Please do

Pizza Guy sounds like “Pete’s a guy”. Thus the follow up comment. It’s not about alternate names for pizza delivery people.

It’s mildly funny. Not hilarious, but I smiled at least.

Funny enough that I keep coming back to this thread.

When I was in college, there was a hall monitor who was not terribly well-liked. Everyone derisively called him Pizzaroni, which I figured was some sort of Italian restaurant. You know, sort of a cross between Pizzeria and Pepperoni. Maybe they were making fun of his Italian heritage.

I didn’t learn until later that that was his name. First name Pete…

We use “Pizza Dude”, from The 'Burbs.

Behold: The Pizza Man. This is a very famous Jakarta landmark - I pass it every time I go to the office. It has a name, but for decades everyone has just called it “pizza man.”

You can’t see it in the above photo, but he is wearing some sort of disturbing toga-like garment wrapped around his groin. A long ribbon of it protrudes from his backside; the artist’s conception apparently being that he was running so fast that the wind whipped it outward. I always think it looks like something is being ejected from his buttocks, maybe a little bit of yesterday’s pizza intake, if you know what I mean.
Ah, here we go.

I prefer the term “Nice Man”. As in, “There’s a Nice Man who brings food to my house when I’m hungry.”
