Knock off the PC vs 360 debate. Start yet another thread about it if you absolutely have to do it again. Any further posts on the merits of PC vs 360 or vice versa not directly relevant to Fallout: New Vegas will result in warnings.
Examples:
Right; “New Vegas will probably be better in the long run on the PC because of the mods.”
Wrong; “New Vegas is better on the PC because the PC is inherantly a better platform.”
Which statements in this thread fall under the “wrong” category there? If the OP asks which platform to get it for, and you say PC because of X Y and Z, that seems relevant to his question.
I’m not trying to antagonize here - I’m wondering for future reference what’s acceptable and what isn’t.
By all accounts the new Fallout is incredibly buggy. If you want to choose between an RPG and Civ 5 have you considered Dragon Age? The GOTY comes out in a few days.
That’s a optimised original game, expansion and the extensive downloadable content. Based on my playthrough that’s getting on for a hundred+ hours of content, and it’s a really good game.
Ok, so back on topic, so far Gamespot and IGN have given the PC version of the game a higher score. They cite less bugs/more stability, better performance, better graphics as their reasons.
