I received the ROUNDS applicator and a bottle of the Sarna lotion yesterday. Today, I enjoyed a very nice shower. I enjoyed it because I knew afterwards I’d get to try out the new stuff!
Oh, wow! I slathered Sarna on my back, and the itching just STOPPED. I’m so peaceful because I am not tormented with my skin trying to crawl off my body!
The ROUNDS applicator functions like a small spatula, and applying the lotion to my back was as easy as slathering mayo on a slice of bread! With practice, I expect to become an expert at buttering my back. Cleanup took a dab of soap and running water, easy!
I hope your applicator is everything you are hoping for!
I have tried it for a couple of days, and it does seem to work better than the Benadryl gel at keeping the itch down for a much longer period. So thank you again.
I have ordered one of these as well. I should have it in a couple of days.
I ordered that Lanacane from Amazon, it came today. There were three tubes. That works out to about the usual price for Lanacane. The mosquitoes are too soon among us, I think I’ll buy more.
But I like it in the kitchen. I’m not gonna get a dedicated one. Made of wood too.
Remember those bamboo backscratchers? My Daddy always had them. They seem germy to me.
When I was at his house I always sprayed Lysol on them.
Nope. Didn’t tell him.
He had itchy patches, too. Hmm🤔
If you use it on your itchy feet, and then your back… interesting.
I use a prescription cream that has both a steroid and an antifungal when I get itchy patches on my belly (usually just below the breasts.) It’s like magic.
If it doesn’t clear up, see a doctor. There are lots of things they can do for itching.
The spatula I use for applying dry skin cream to my back lives in the upstairs bathroom. There’s an entirely different one that lives in the kitchen and is used there.
Though as long as it’s washed between uses, I don’t see any reason (other than the convenience of having one where I’m about to use it instead of having to run up and down the stairs for it) not to use the same one. A spurtle looks a little harder to wash well, though.
