Hey, no problem! With as many Simpsons fans as we have on this board, it’s a wonder that we don’t have a few more "Guy"s running around here.
There’s a poster on this board whose username follows the format “firstname lastname”. I don’t know if it’s his real last name, but it’s certainly my [fairly uncommon] last name. I always want to ask him if it’s his real name, and if we’re possibly related, but I want to preserve my anonymity. Although I suppose anyone with 2 brain cells and about 20 min to spare could figure out my name if they wanted. But still. Anyway, my original point was that I always get confused when I see a thread started by him, because my last name always jumps out at me, and I always forget that I’m not the only one in the world to have it (although sometimes it seems that way).
I always skip reading everything in your name between N and Boy and so I always think you are NoClueBoy until I look a second time.
I figure I’m pretty safe as to be not confused w/ anyone, although in retrospect, I should have left the “the” off of my name, to make it shorter.
I suppose I could be related to “Nowhere Man”. . . .

When I was jjtm, people confused me for jjimm pretty often. And then when I became Troy McClure SF, People confused me with Chef Troy, especially in IRC, when the name length is limited. I just can’t win.
