What Carriers were you on? I was on the USS Ranger in the 80s.
My FIL passed away last weekend, of a glioblastoma. The GBM was actually the most pleasant way to die, given his options (the other was a slow, sad degeneration and eventual asphyxiation from Huntington’s).
He was diagnosed over 2 years ago, and had other medical issues. I don’t know what else is going on with the OP health-wise, but just wanted to share that this isn’t an immediate death sentence.
I hate that I can’t say anything that won’t sound like trite platitudes. Sometimes shitty hands get dealt and it sucks. I wish I could buy you a drink or a pizza or something.
Aw, Jesus, asshole ;), we’re all nearer the grave than the maternity ward, and we’ve been buds for years. This board welcomes us scum, and we welcome the dregs of humanity what washes up here. Cut yerself a break and accept us as your peers. 
It’s a great place for it, and it will last forev…until the next server crash.

I lurk more than I post, too, but wanted to let you know that I’m sorry to hear this - it must be devastating for you. I don’t have the words so many other posters have… just please know my thoughts are with you.
i’M DoneWith RADIATION TEN DAYS AGO AND now will go into what’s called pulsed chemo with higher doses and then two weeks of of nothing. I’m eager for an imaging sessions to see if anything has workked so far…

How are you feeling? Any ill effects from the treatment, or from the tumor?
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the imaging results.
